Dear Jane …
Use your middle name if you want to. Lots of authors do. But here are some things to consider: Fewer names can be easier for readers to remember. Fewer names can be easier to use as social media handles. And this biggie: A shorter name can be set larger on your book cover, which will make your name easier to read on tiny thumbnail images wherever your book cover would appear online.
Happy writing!
