Dear Us …
I recommend only one of you act as the contact point, for clarity and efficiency. For submission, put only that person’s contact information on the manuscript and in the query letter. You’ll make the co-authorship clear in the content of your query letter, and you’ll put both names under the title in your manuscript (TITLE by X and X). After you are signed up, your agent (and later, editor) will know to email BOTH of you when corresponding.
Happy writing!
